Earlier this month, the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) announced that the organization had named the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid its Northwest Family Green Car of the Year at their Drive Revolution green car competition in Portland, Oregon.
The Chrysler Pacifica delivers a unique blend of functionality, style, versatility and technology, and the Pacifica Hybrid adds to that mix by offering a class-exclusive hybrid powertrain and achieving 84 miles-per-gallon equivalent (MPGe) when in electric-only mode.
Member of the NWAPA teamed with journalists from around the nation to assess 19 energy-efficient vehicles, including plug-in hybrid vehicles, gasoline-electric vehicles, battery-electric vehicles and a single hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. The Pacifica Hybrid was praised for the manner in which its outstanding fuel economy helps maximize the family budget.
